First of all....
Yesterday was insane, and not totally in a good way. I was going to the auto parts store with Matt. We were in Clayton and all of the sudden we see a plane fall out of the sky, hit the parking lot, and then a popular resturaunt. It was very scary. Unfortunately, the pilot died. The people in the resturaunt made it out ok for the most part. One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, but ended up being ok.
Needless to say, for the rest of the day there was some degree of frighten-ness in me. I was more sensitive to sounds, flashes of light, etc than normal. The thing is, you never know when something like that will happen. Fortunately most of the people were ok, including myself and others on the road. It seemed as if the pilot wanted to land on the road, but couldn't because of the traffic.
Today was my last day at work at Target. All the fighten-ness had left me. I'm feeling much better today.
At the same time, I'm going to miss everyone. The fact that I'm leaving what I'm familiar with and heading into the unknown is finally sinking in. I'm at a point where I'm almost going to cry because it's going to be a while before I see my friends and family here again.
But God has awesome plans for me in Redding, California. It's going to be amazing.
Now is the time to step into the catapult and get ready to be lifted off.
