I made it to Redding, California last night. (It is still Monday as I'm writing this, for those of you in the Eastern time zone, it's Tuesday already)

I didn't get much sleep overnight.

I was really tired, and I've been on an emotional roller-coaster all day. I'm glad I'm here, but there's part of me that just wishes I didn't leave home. There's also part of me that's scared. I left everything I knew behind, and am in the unknown.

But I know God has awesome plans for me out here.

My internet is set up and working well. I've paid my first month's rent, utilities, and internet.

For those of you back home in North Carolina, I love you all. I'm going to try to be home for Christmas.
