Not quite how I thought things would work out...

So, I'm running out of money again...

I am doing some work on a logo.  Problem is I thought I'd be done with it by now.

I sent some concepts two weeks ago to this company I'm doing work for.  I don't know what the deal was last week.  This week, I found out the guy who owns the company was in the hospital (I'm working directly with him, and he had no way of letting me know he was in the hospital). 

My church sent me money at the beginning of the month, but it wasn't as much as I expected, but it kind of makes sense, seeing how I told them I had some work I was doing now.

So, I thought I was going to be paid for this logo by now, but because of circumstances beyond my control, I'm just now getting past the concept stage.

So, I've got to pray for finances to come in the meantime.  I'm back to just having ramen noodles, and I've got some pork chops that I really don't know how to cook (a guy who used to live here left them here in the freezer).

Maybe I should take on a second client right now, because it seems like one may have work for me to do, but it takes forever to get back to me on the concept designs and in the meantime, I'm needing to get this work finished if I want to make money.  I could have been doing other things if I knew it was going to take this long.

So hopefully in the next week, I'll get this logo done and get paid, and I hope it happens quickly (and I hope he can send it via paypal, haha).

Anyway, just a little prayer request to throw out there, because I've been left with ramen noodles for breakfast, lunch, and supper a few too many times now, and I do like ramen noodles, but I kind of think I need a bit more variety in my diet than that.

Other than that, everything's going well.  I went with some friends last night to pray for healing for someone at a hospital that we heard about.   He apparently had a life-threatening injury from a skateboarding accident.  We couldn't go into the guy's room, but we could pray at the door.  Then we went back to the emergency room and prayed for some people.  That was pretty awesome.

OK, I'm hungry.  I do have bread.  I have nothing other than that to make a sandwich, but I can eat bread.  :-)
