Over the weekend, I got a couple of discouraging e-mails from people I know back at home. I also had a couple of really encouraging e-mails.
I had been concerned because Matt from my church back at home hadn't communicated with me much over the past few months. I finally got to talk to him yesterday and found out why. He had been going through hell with some stuff going on in his life. But he said the church is still behind me, even if when I'm done with school I am lead by the Holy Spirit to go somewhere else.
The support letter was something that I needed to handle, apparently, and not the church. I made the assumption that they would handle it. Well, that was a bad assumption.
Anyway, I'm feeling really good today.
I do need some money for stamps, envelopes, and paper.
School is going great so far.
