A couple of weeks ago, I was walking down Hilltop Drive here in Redding, and I noticed a web site design company there. I thought to myself "I should send them a resume". Well, it slipped my mind.
At church, one of my friends, Frank, prayed for me for a job. I found out that he has an anointing to see people get jobs within a week or two after being prayed for. That same week, my friend Adam Messenger popped up on Facebook and told me he felt like I was going to get a job in the next two weeks.
Last Sunday, I get an e-mail. It happened to be from this web design company that I thought about sending a resume to. They found me on Craig's List and wanted to talk with me.
So I started work this past Wednesday. It's great. I am having to refresh myself on ASP since I've been into Linux forever and I'm more of a PHP person, and I haven't touched ASP in years. But it's going well.
God is so good! I really believed the Holy Spirit said if I stayed in Redding that I would have breakthrough. This is more breakthrough than I thought I would get. Not only do I have a job, but it was a job that's hard to find in Redding even in a good economy, and probably during the worst economy of my life so far. God takes care of his people. You just have to be willing to listen to the Holy Spirit and obey for him to take care of you like he wants to.
