Spent a few hours at Christmas Eve stuck at Del Taco...
I decided to go to Del Taco for lunch today.

When I tried to leave Del Taco, my car battery was dead. This isn't the first time it's been dead this past week. It's the second time.

I called my landlord a few times. I finally got through to him. He was in the middle of looking at office space with his wife. He said he would get there as soon as possible.

I tried going into the gas station to see if anyone had any jumper cables. Nope.

I tried waving people down as they were driving by to get someone to help. They looked at me like I was crazy.

Any people who were getting out at the gas station and the Del Taco did not have any jumper cables. It's amazing. Apparently, no one in Redding has jumper cables with them in their car. Back home in North Carolina, you were bound to find someone with jumper cables. I guess car batteries don't die in Redding, California, except for mine.

I decided while I was there, I would call people back home and wish them a merry Christmas.

My landlord finally came with his car and jumper cables. I drove to Anderson and back. I made it back home.

If I go anywhere for Christmas tomorrow, I will make sure that battery is charged up before I leave.
