I'm glad I'm not giving up on Redding! I am going to find a job up here. I love the heat! God is moving powerfully!
But wait! Why are so many people wanting to give up on Redding?
Well I did so before.
If God is telling you to leave Redding, I completely understand that. However, I think some people want to give up on this town just because of the economy here. Redding has historically been a bad place to find work.
I have a different attitude about Redding now than I used to have. The attitude is God has something great here for those who will stick it out! No, it's not God's will for you to be poor and homeless. But it happens! Even the difficult situations are an opportunity for heaven to invade Earth.
I'm not going to look at what seems like a negative here as a negative anymore. I'm going to look at it as an opportunity to bring heaven to Earth.
People are leaving left and right. Well I just got back, and I'm sticking it out this time. To those who want to leave, well, see you another time! I'm here to get what God sent me out here for in the first place, and I will not rest until I have it because it's what God wants for me.
